It's been quite a while since I've had chance to post to the message board, so for a quick run down of events here goes:

Steve Martland Band Concert at Henley certainly had the champagne flowing. Problems have arisen somewhat after the event with the SMB agent Hazard Chase and my management company Music On the Edge. This has unfortunately meant court proceedings will now follow, obviously I can't say anything at the moment until the case has proceeded to its natural end. What has resulted is a parting of ways between Hazard Chase and the Steve Martland Band with imediate effect!

Exciting times for Ensemble Q with an album launch/performance at Turner Sims, Southampton University on 28th October. Their CD 'Untold' has five world prem. tracks on it so watch this space for special purchase details. FMR records is releasing the album and also re- releasing their Disc 1 which featured 'Pinnacles' by Tansy Davies.

The Delta Saxophone Quartet has just been made ensemble in residence at Kingston University for 2003-2004. This is a brilliant opportunity for both the DSQ and Kingston music students to work in partnership over the next year, the DSQ's next album featuring works from the Soft Machine will certainly be made with the collective efforts that this residency presents.

Back, sooner I hope. Best Chris C.
