Taiwan 0 - Uzbekistan 1 (latest football), well it reads like a Delta Sax passport page. What a crazy world also for these two countries, Taiwanese elections returning a 0.02 % majority, a political (staged?)shooting, it seems you need more than just a spin doctor in these times.
Uzbekistan, an amazingly beautiful country which made the DSQ so welcome in 2002. Very sad to see the news about the recent bombings, let's hope that the arts can start to heal the war frenzy which has been the early part of 2000 AD.
31st March found me in High Wycombe in the studio of the PHD composer David Bessel from Kingston, recording the wayward sounds of a variety of multiphonics from the Daniel Kiensy book (for some of torture). A piece is under development so watch this space for new exotic sounds coming from the DSQ!
The Taiwan tour dates are now taking shape, these will be posted on the web site by this week-end.
